Sweeney Outdoor Living was built on years of hands-on experience, strong professional relationships, and a genuine passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces. My journey in outdoor construction began at Sta-Built Construction, where I became the company’s first designer and estimator. That experience gave me a strong foundation in design, estimating, and working with homeowners.
As my career progressed, I worked at N.D. Brick Pavers, where I sharpened my skills and deepened my understanding of hardscaping and outdoor construction. Another meaningful chapter was working alongside my brother-in-law at Thurston Turf & Pavers. It was gratifying professionally and personally, and I remain thankful for that experience.
Over the past nine-plus years, I’ve contributed to projects ranging from paver patios, driveways, and retaining walls to artificial turf, decks, covered patios, and complete backyard transformations throughout the South Sound. These experiences shaped what Sweeney Outdoor Living represents today: thoughtful design, honest communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to doing the job right.
For me, this business is about more than beautiful outdoor spaces. It’s about building relationships, earning trust, and delivering work homeowners can enjoy for years to come. Proudly serving Thurston County, Pierce County and South King County, including Tacoma and Gig Harbor.
